I joined Mattioli Woods at 17 as an apprentice, and I remain grateful to be mentored to this day by Ian Mattioli, one of the firm’s co-founders.

Financial education is more than part of my job; it is what drives me.  I believe that when people understand their money, everything changes.  I bring that same conviction to every client relationship.  The truth is, most people were never taught how money really works, and without the right guidance, it can feel like an impossible maze to navigate alone.

I have built my career here from the ground up, starting in administration, learning part of the business, and growing into an advisory role which gives me a thorough understanding of how Mattioli Woods operates at each level.

Pensions are a good example.  The most common misconception is that you need to be older, fully employed, or have large sums available before it is worth starting.  I set my younger brother up with a pension at 16, because I have always believed that the sooner you start, the better.  But in my experience, the best time to take control of your finances is always now, regardless of where you are in life.  It is never too late to make your money work harder for you.

Outside of client work, I sit on a few boards and invest in early-stage businesses.  That experience keeps me grounded in the real world of financial decision-making and sharpens the perspective I bring to every conversation, whether you are a business owner, building towards retirement, or simply taking control of your finances for the first time.  Everyone who sits across from me gets the same quality of thinking and the same level of care.
