A third demo article
Most people planning for later life want a clear picture of what their savings will do for them, not a spreadsheet of jargon.
Most people planning for later life want a clear picture of what their savings will do for them, not a spreadsheet of jargon. This demo article exists so the news templates can be tested with the same structure a real article carries: a dynamic hero, a single column of editorial content and nothing hard-coded in the template.
Why structure matters
Every migrated article on this site is built from blocks. The hero at the top reads its date and category from the post itself, and the body you are reading now is a content block, which is what keeps typography, spacing and measure consistent across all 245 articles.
- The hero is dynamic, so the date and byline come from the post record
- The body sits in a content block with a single column layout
- Listing cards pick up the thumbnail from the ACF field, not the featured image
What to check when testing
Confirm the heading hierarchy renders correctly, that lists inherit the right spacing, and that links such as contacting the team pick up the brand colour and underline. A second paragraph under a heading should sit closer to its heading than to the paragraph above it.
If this page looks broken, the fault is in the theme or the blocks, not the content, which is exactly the point of seeding it this way.
