Deferring VAT payments - All UK VAT registered companies
Ability to defer VAT payments which fall due from 20 March 2020 until 30 June 2020, to be repaid by the end of the 2020/21 tax year. Automatic offer with no applications; businesses will not need to make a VAT payment during this period. VAT refunds and reclaims will be paid by the government as normal.
If VAT payments are normally paid by direct debit, this will need to be cancelled so that HMRC do not automatically attempt to collect payment.
