“I want every client to walk away feeling clearer, calmer and more in control.”
I joined financial services because I’ve always wanted to help people. Growing up, I saw how closely money and emotional security are linked, and I learned early that nothing is handed to you on a plate – you work hard for what matters. That mindset has stayed with me throughout my career.
Early on in my career in financial services, I spent time as an administrator and business development manager in the private pension market, before joining the Mattioli Woods Financial Adviser Academy and qualifying as a wealth management consultant. This provided me with a depth of knowledge that directly benefits my clients today, particularly around pension planning, and guiding business owners through the complexities of property within pension schemes.
What drives me is giving people genuine peace of mind – not through complexity, but through clarity. Good advice needs to flex too, because life changes. People get married, have children, face redundancy or bereavement. The plan that’s right today might need adjusting later down the line and knowing when to act is what a tailored and objectives-led financial plan really looks like.
Trust builds slowly and I’m proud to say my clients see me as someone they can call when something important happens. It’s not something you earn on day one, but it’s what I work towards with all of my clients.
I’ve always been involved in team sports and that shaped me more than I realised. Accountability, communication, being honest even when it’s uncomfortable – those lessons transfer directly into how I work with clients today.
Outside of work, I’m a proud Nottingham Forest season ticket holder, enjoy golf – albeit not very well – and I’m always planning the next adventure of where to travel next.
