“Great advice is personal – it should genuinely delight you.”
I studied molecular biology at the University of Manchester. Not the most obvious starting point for a career in wealth management, but the analytical mindset it gave me has shaped everything I do: looking for patterns, asking the right questions, and never assuming I already know the answer.
I fell into financial services, but what kept me there was the people. My career began at a wealth management firm, where I worked with high-net-worth individuals and families across increasingly complex and specialist roles. Each step demanded deeper thinking and a broader set of skills, and I loved that challenge, because no two clients, no two situations, and no two days were ever the same.
After more than a decade there, I established Aurelia Private Wealth, a Partner Practice of St. James’s Place, before joining what is now Mattioli Woods. With over 15 years in wealth management, my focus is on high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and senior professionals who need more than a standard plan. They need something genuinely bespoke – built around their life, not a template.
That’s how I approach financial planning. I start with the person, not the product. I treat every client as a blank page: asking the questions others skip, listening carefully, and building a clear picture of what genuinely matters. My aim is always to make the complex simple, giving clients the clarity and confidence to make decisions that are right for them.
I particularly enjoy working with clients whose finances have become chaotic or overwhelming. The relief when clarity replaces anxiety is something I find deeply satisfying. I’ve worked with people earning significant sums who couldn’t understand where the money was going, and others who assumed they weren’t wealthy enough to have a plan at all. Whether the work involves pension planning, Inheritance Tax (IHT) structuring, investment management, or simply bringing order to a complex financial picture, the goal is the same: to make the client the hero of their own financial story.
Outside of work, I’m a former MasterChef UK quarterfinalist with a passion for bold, flavoursome cooking, and I’m kept busy by two very active young children.
