“I measure success in client confidence, referrals, and the freedom my clients gain.”
As a Wealth Management Director at Mattioli Woods, I’m accountable for the commercial, cultural and adviser performance of my region. I lead a team of directors and advisers, and I sit on the Wealth Advisory Committee, where I help shape and deliver divisional decisions. I remain a practising adviser too, because I believe you lead best while still doing the job.
I joined Mattioli Woods in 2008 after graduating in Business and Economics from Nottingham Trent University, and qualified as a Wealth Management Consultant in 2012. Over 14 years, I’ve worked with high-net-worth individuals, families and owner-managed businesses across everything from pension planning and wealth accumulation to tax-efficient drawdown, wealth transfer and preservation. That breadth comes from understanding what each client is building towards, then putting the right plan in place to get them there.
Most of my new business comes through client and accountant referrals, and I think that says more than any credential could. It reflects relationships built on trust, responsiveness and results. I’ve always believed an unanswered question creates unnecessary anxiety – I’d rather send a quick acknowledgement than leave someone waiting.
Outside of work, I have a wife and two young boys. I run marathons, tackle hiking challenges and play golf when I can. Most Saturdays, you’ll find me at the King Power Stadium with my sons, watching Leicester City Football Club.
