“I believe every client deserves clear, honest financial advice – the kind my own family never had access to.”
My parents built everything from the ground up. My dad began working at 16 and bought his first home by 19; my mum moved from India, and together they created a life here in the UK. They worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for me – but like many families, they had to navigate financial decisions without guidance or clarity. Seeing that first-hand shaped my perspective early on. Financial advice shouldn’t be reserved for the few – it should be clear, honest and genuinely useful to anyone who needs it.
I studied Financial Mathematics at university before joining Mattioli Woods, where I completed the Financial Adviser Academy and built the technical foundation I bring to every client relationship today. While I enjoy the analytical side, I’m always conscious of what sits behind the numbers – years of hard work, careful saving and long-term planning. When someone has spent decades building their wealth, the weight of that trust is something I never take lightly. I approach every client as I would my own family: with patience, clarity and genuine care.
I work across a broad range of financial planning areas, helping clients build a clear, joined-up picture of their finances. Within that, I have a particular focus on Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, an area many clients find complex or easy to defer. My role is to cut through that complexity, helping clients understand their position, their options, and the practical steps needed to protect what they’ve built for the people they care about most.
The best financial plans don’t start with a spreadsheet – they start with an honest conversation. In every meeting, I prioritise listening carefully, asking the right questions and building a clear picture before making any recommendations. Effective advice has to be built around people and what genuinely matters to them, not assumptions.
My approach to client work is shaped, in part, by my background in competitive sport. I became a three-time World Champion in taekwondo at 16, represented England at the European Championships in Poland, and trained at an elite level for over a decade. That experience taught me that preparation, consistency and composure under pressure aren’t optional – and I bring those same qualities to my work with clients.
Outside of work, I still train regularly, spend time with my Labrador, and follow Manchester United – which, at times, requires a different kind of resilience altogether. I’m also working towards a personal goal that motivates me more than any medal: giving back to my parents everything they sacrificed for me.
Everything I do comes back to one simple idea – making sure the people I work with have someone in their corner.
