    Giles Porteous

    Senior Employee Benefits Consultant

Giles has nearly two decades of financial services experience, spanning wealth management and employee benefits consultancy. He now operates exclusively in the employee benefits arena, specialising in workplace pensions. Recognised locally as ‘the pensions guy’, Giles has helped hundreds of businesses, from small startups to large multi-nationals.

Giles took the opportunity to join the Mattioli Woods Employee Benefits team in early 2025 following the sale of his own wealth management business. Having been a business owner himself, Giles is well versed in the day-to-day challenges faced by employers.

When not in the office, Giles spends most of his free time outdoors with his two children on their smallholding in South Lanarkshire.
