Yesterday, 16 June, would have seen us all gathering in Rothley for the 35th Rothley 10k.
Following the inevitable cancellation, we’re ecstatic to see the running community had some fun anyway. We asked the participants to wear their Rothley 10k t shirt or best running gear, and to capture how they spent their race day. The Rothley community did not disappoint! We were amazed by everyone that sent in a photograph and wanted to share some of them with our extended Mattioli Woods’ family.
This community just keep on giving. When the race was cancelled, rather than a refund, 101 Rothley 10k runners have requested their entry cost for this year’s race go to LOROS. This takes the final donation amount to £1,818! In normal circumstances this would be incredible, but when we consider the current climate this catapults the admiration for such generosity into new heights.

2021, will be the biggest and best race yet!
