IN the heart of the city centre, grey steelwork glistens as the sun periodically breaks through laden skies.

The structure’s unmistakable form stands out as a freshly created landmark amid the hubbub of busy traffic and streets lined with shoppers.
These are the latest images showing the rapid progress of construction work on Mattioli Woods’ new £15 million office building.
The development - in New Walk, Leicester - is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
It will eventually house more than 400 staff in 60,000 sq ft of purpose-built office space.
Mattioli Woods’ workers are being bused in on monthly visits to see first-hand how the new complex is taking shape ahead of their permanent switch early next year.
“Now staff can see something really tangible taking shape our recent visits have been hugely engaging, with lots of positive feedback,” says head of group marketing Mark Slaviero.
“As we enter the later stages of the development our new flagship offices are beginning to give a very real indication of the top-class working environment we will enjoy”.
The site was formerly the home of Leicester City Council, whose premises were demolished in February 2015 after being declared structurally unsound.
The new mixed use development will also comprise of 54 new homes, retail outlets including restaurants, and a public area to complement attractive, tree-lined New Walk.
