Amati Global Investors are celebrating once again after winning a leading industry award for the third year running.
Crowned the Best AIM IHT Portfolio Service (Tax-efficient and Estate Planning Specialist) at the Investment Week Tax Efficient Awards on 30 November, the award recognises Amati as being one of the most successful and forward-thinking providers in venture capital trusts, enterprise investment schemes and business property relief/inheritance tax. Alongside performance criteria, the awards acknowledge the degree to which providers help promote a greater understanding of the sector and its benefits with both investors and advisers.
Mattioli Woods holds a 49% stake in specialist fund manager Amati, which it purchased in 2017 to enhance the group's fund management expertise.
Amati has a strong history of winning awards, and has continued to do so this year. For example, fund manager Paul Jourdan was named the best UK Smaller Companies Fund Manager by fund research company FE in May, while the fund itself won a Highly Commended Award from The Moneywise Fund Awards for the second year running.
Chief investment officer Simon Gibson said: "We are thrilled for our workmates at Amati Global Investors – Paul Jourdan and the team exemplify professionalism in asset management and this latest award, the THIRD time in a row it has been won by the team, is well deserved."
