NINETEEN newcomers have joined the ranks of Mattioli Woods as part of the company’s award-winning talent search.
Six are graduates who have been recruited under the firm’s financial services development scheme, while 13 others have signed up for its apprenticeship programme.
The latest influx is part of Mattioli Woods’ ongoing pledge to invest in young people, which has made it one of the region’s biggest recruiters of university leavers.
Talent and development business partner Fiona Treadwell said: “Our graduate programme now spans two decades and has been the lifeblood of our talent growth. Today, many of those who came to us in the early waves hold key management positions.
“Meanwhile our apprenticeship scheme is in its seventh year and goes from strength to strength. We are committed to offering opportunities to young people and believe apprenticeships are vital to the continued growth and success of our business”.
She said the fact Mattioli Woods had been named Apprentice Employer of the Year by the Leicestershire Apprenticeship Hub in June was “a clear indication of the dedication and hard work we have invested”.
The graduate financial services development scheme recruits include Declan Davies, Megan Ashley, Joshua Richards, Prabhdeep Gill and Chenai Jakachira.
They are joined by financial services apprentices Eoin Greenwood, Thomas Cooley, Jai Patel, Eleanor Odams, Dylan Adatia, Simran Hothi, Jonathan Fielder and Umair Novsarka. Olivia Ward and Hafsa Ali are both on a chartered manager degree apprenticeship run in conjunction with Leicester’s De Montfort University.
Vinay Gogana arrives as a financial services level 3 apprentice, Joshua Freer goes into IT software development and Jake Gibbins the IT Helpdesk.
All 19 are based at the company’s office at Enderby, Leicester.
