Lavenham Literary Festival
We have been long time supporters of the Lavenham Literary Festival. This beautiful village in Suffolk attracts crowds of over 1,000 people to it’s bi-annual festival.
The 2019 event kicked off with a festival dinner with actress and writer Ruth Jones as guest speaker. Recitals and conversations with other authors includes Ian McEwan and poet Pam Ayres.
Nicola Hilder, Head of Marketing for Mattioli Woods said, “The organisers always ensure there’s a great mix of topics including fiction and non-fiction and whether you are a poet, a budding writer or just love reading. Be warned, after hearing from the authors – you won’t be able to avoid the pop up Waterstones shop!”
