    Michael Wright

    Deputy Chief Executive Officer

Michael joined Mattioli Woods in 2004 after graduating with a law degree from the University of Leicester. Having held a number of roles across the business, most notably Group Managing Director, he was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer in July 2023.

His focus is the day-to-day running of the business, leading the senior teams in the delivery of the client proposition. As a member, Michael works with the CEO and his co-directors in the development of the Group’s strategy.

Although the majority of his role centres on achieving our corporate objectives, Michael continues to work closely with a small portfolio of clients in creating bespoke and tailored financial plans and investment strategies.

Michael and his wife have three beautiful daughters who take up most of his free time, but he occasionally finds time for a social round of golf.
