More than 40 workers at Mattioli Woods' Newmarket office backed an initiative in support of the charity, Newmarket Open Door.
Following a successful request at Christmas, they have once again been adding extra items to their weekly grocery shopping to donate to the charity.
Tanya Serracanti from Mattioli Woods said: “We often support charities at Christmas, however the summer holidays can also be a worrying time for people who are finding it hard to buy even the basics we all take for granted and where children are not receiving their free school meal for a few weeks.
"The support from the team has once again been remarkable.”
The team loaded up the Newmarket Open Door car with boxes of items including milk, pasta, toothpaste and a variety of tinned goods.
Newmarket Open Door is a charity providing vulnerable people with supported housing and training opportunities in Newmarket. As well as their houses, they run two charity superstores and training centres in Newmarket and Mildenhall, the local Foodbank as well as the Community Recycling Centre, to fundraise and to support the wider community.
