Amati Global Investors Limited once again continues its long-standing commitment of donating 10% of its profits to charity and, with a 49% stake in Amati, Mattioli Woods will also be making donations this year.
Employees from each company are encouraged to nominate a charity that is close to their hearts and this year Mattioli Woods received 99 requests for donations to charities.
This year, charities received a total of £108,876; this figure will change each year depending upon the profitability of the Amati business, with chosen charities receiving between £250 and £2,000.
Charities including Tom’s Trust, Rueben’s Retreat, Crisis and Ukraine Action received donations that will go a long way to helping them continue the good work they already do.
Mark Davidson, Consultant Paediatric Intensivist at Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity – a charity that also received a donation thanks to a nomination from Rob Stevenson from our subsidiary Maven – said, “On behalf of us all at the children’s hospital, thank you for your generous support.
