After graduating in 2008 with a degree in business and economics, I spent several years in South Korea teaching English before returning to the UK in 2012 to embark on a career in financial services.
I joined Mattioli Woods’ graduate programme in 2015 after gaining valuable risk and compliance experience during my time at Santander. I applied this experience as the technical lead on non-standard investments, supporting a consultancy team of more than 100 advisers as well as playing pivotal roles in compliance projects and acquisitions.
Consultancy gave me the opportunity to take on a client-facing role and I now apply my experience in the industry as part of a team that manages over £250m of client assets. I also play an active role in supporting national organisations, including the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) and Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) as a regular speaker and contributor.
As a huge sports fan and active participant, I have run the company football team, captained the touch rugby team and took part in the annual Mattioli Woods Rothley 10k. I am also a proud father of two, who now account for most of my physical output.
