I aspired to work in finance from a young age, even parking my toy car outside ‘the bank’ when I was ‘working’ during toy car games with my younger brother. With this interest I studied financial services at university and since leaving have worked throughout the financial sector before becoming an investment manager with Atkinson Bolton Consulting in 2006, setting up the Discretionary Portfolio Management Service in 2007. I was promoted from Investment Manager to Investment Director in 2017.
I now sit on the Asset Allocation Committee and have research responsibilities within the Investment Research Team, which I lead with Chris White. I also co-manage the range of Mattioli Woods multi-asset funds with Mark Moore and Jonathon Marchant.
I also sit on the Investment Committee focusing on strategy, oversight and operations for the Asset Management Division.
With a young family, my life outside of work is filled with time spent with friends and wider family. I am also a governor and chair of the PTA at my children’s school.
