THE MATTIOLI FOUNDATION SUPPORTS LEICESTER ROYAL INFIRMARY
The Mattioli Foundation was approached last week by retired Mattioli Woods employee, Sue Burdett. Sue’s niece, Clare Scaresbrook, works at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Clare had mentioned to her Aunt how the team there could do with some support.
The Mattioli Foundation asked Ward Manager Marie Hoy what they could do and Marie’s answer … “I’ve asked the staff and they said it would be lovely if we could have a coffee machine and some pods.”
The comfort and importance of a warm drink during our working day is incredibly important so the foundation quickly organised a new coffee machine and a selection of coffee for £200. This was all delivered last week along with some Mattioli Woods branded mugs and biscuits from the marketing team.
Marie Hoy, Ward Manager took delivery of the gifts, “a shot of caffeine is always helpful, especially on night shifts! Thank you again for supporting the NHS staff in these difficult times.”
