A member of the Board since June 2016, Anne has spent more than 40 years in retail financial services in the UK, with executive experience across all sectors, from lending to wealth management and including IPO, and merger and acquisition activity.
Anne gained an MBA from Warwick Business School as well as a degree in physics from the University of Nottingham before building a successful career in both mortgages and direct channel delivery, with for instance her team launching Lloyds Internet Banking. She also worked as Chief Executive of both Standard Life Bank and Standard Life Healthcare and was founding director of Standard Life Wealth. Anne has an honorary doctorate from The University of Edinburgh and is a chartered banker.
She has held non-executive roles in both the charitable and commercial sectors, and also chaired Warwick Business School. Alongside her role within Mattioli Woods, she also sits on the Masthaven Bank board and the Water Plus Limited Group board, a jointly owned subsidiary of United Utilities plc and Severn Trent plc.
Anne has a lifelong interest in sailing and cooking for friends when it is too rough to sail.
