Around 90 representatives from Leicester businesses heard guest speaker Duncan Green, the managing partner of Pick Everard, sharing valuable insights from his 30 years within the construction industry. With a history spanning 150 years within the UK property market – Duncan expanded on the longevity of the firm, its broad portfolio across both public and private sectors and its rising performance and expansion plans.
Mr Mattioli MBE – chief executive officer of Mattioli Woods plc – said PROFILE1 gave businesses the opportunity to network, create “real friendships” and “enjoy the space” of his firm’s new surroundings.
During the evening, classic cocktail bar Cank Street provided a range of cocktails including a bespoke ProfiLE1 cocktail. Catering was provided by Dimblebee’s and guests were also treated to live entertainment from Jazz band, Jazz Nouveau.
The event took place in the wealth management firm’s top-floor sky lounge of their new offices in New Walk which offers impressive views over Leicester. Four hundred staff moved into the building last October after switching from the company’s previous base at Grove Park, Enderby.
The networking group which continues to gather momentum meets quarterly and was set up to facilitate networking across the city between key business leaders and influencers. The next event is planned for August 1.
