    Josie Turi

    Wealth Management Consultant

“We’re going to achieve your financial goals together.”

My mum raised my brother and me on her own, and while part of my extended family was wealthy, we weren’t. At 15, I started working – not for pocket money, but because I couldn’t watch my family struggle. My mum wanted me to focus on studying, but for me, it wasn’t a choice.

That experience taught me something I carry into every client meeting: I treat their wealth as if it were my own. I know what it means when money is tight, and I know what security feels like when you finally have it.

I started out in hospitality in Italy, where I learnt that relationships matter more than anything. When I moved to London in 2015, I eventually found my way into finance – and it felt like everything clicked. I’d always understood people; now I could help them with the financial decisions that actually shape their lives.

While not a morning person, I’ve learnt that if you start your day doing something you genuinely enjoy, everything else follows. For me, that’s meeting clients. Enquiry meetings are my passion – they’re conversations, not meetings. Friendly chats with people I’ve often just met but who feel like I’ve known them for years.

One thing people tell me is that I bring a different energy to meetings. I don’t arrive with a serious face and a briefcase full of jargon – that’s never been my style. I believe professional and friendly can go hand in hand. When clients feel comfortable, real conversations happen. And those real conversations are where the most meaningful work begins.

I work hard to make complicated concepts clear. Pensions, tax relief, investment structures – these are my bread and butter, but I remember not knowing any of it. When I’m explaining something, I break it down into smaller pieces and adapt to how each person learns best. My diary is full of drawings from those conversations!

Growing up surrounded by men taught me how to navigate different perspectives and communicate across varied backgrounds. I support women in finance because they’re often underestimated, but ultimately, I’m for people, all people. Everyone brings their own strengths to the table, and everyone deserves to be heard and supported equally.

I recently worked with an older woman whose husband had just passed away. She was scared and vulnerable and had never handled the finances herself. When I first met her, I could see she was closed off. But by our third meeting, six months later, she had completely changed. She was more open and genuinely happy to hear from me. It wasn’t that she suddenly understood every detail – it was that she knew she could trust me.

That transformation is what drives me. While it’s important I think about my client’s investment returns I also want to make them feel more confident and empowered in their knowledge. How they’ll make decisions without anxiety, knowing they’re protected.

What excites me most is the ongoing journey. I recently met with a woman my age who’s just starting out. If we work together, we’ll grow together, plan together, and eventually retire together. You genuinely become part of the family.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about empowering women and younger generations through financial education. My love for nature, animals, travel and the arts keep me curious and creative, while social events give me opportunities to connect with others and bring fresh perspectives to my work.

This job isn’t just about numbers and plans. It’s about being present, listening deeply, and helping people feel confident about their future. That confidence is what I’m really here to build.
