Consumer Duty
In July 2023 our regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority, published plans to increase the current level of consumer protection in the UK for consumers.
These new rules are known as the Consumer Duty and requires companies to ‘focus on supporting and empowering their customers to make good financial decisions’.
We have a soul. We have culture. We have values. And our clients are absolutely at our core.
At Mattioli Woods, we welcome the introduction of Consumer Duty. We believe it will improve standards for clients and ensure our own ethos is reflected across the industry.
