    Luke Ramsbottom

    Equity Analyst

    Luke graduated from Newcastle University with a distinction in Accounting, Finance and Strategic Investment (MSc), covering financial and management accounting, economics, capital markets, financial planning, and investment. Prior to this, he achieved an upper-second class honours degree in Geography (BA). Having held roles in client relationship management and investment operations, Luke joined the Investment Management team as an Equity Analyst in 2021.

    Responsible for providing research, analysis and recommendations on UK listed equities for the MW UK Dynamic Fund and direct equity portfolios, Luke also contributes to various committees including the Direct Equity Oversight Committee, Investment Policy Committee and Asset Allocation Committee. He has passed both the CFA Level 1 and 2 exams, scoring in the top 10% of candidates, gained the CFA UK Level 4 Investment Management Certificate and is a CFA Level 3 candidate.

    Outside of work Luke plays lacrosse for his local team and enjoys cycling and skiing.
