    Oliver Amps

    Investment Analyst

    Oliver joined Mattioli Woods in 2017 via the apprenticeship program where he gained extensive experience while training for his professional qualifications. Responsible for oversight and selection of external third party funds, Oliver predominantly specialises in equity managers used within the firm’s central investment proposition. Additionally, he is a member of the Asset Allocation Committee and Portfolio Management Committee where he contributes to the team’s macroeconomic views and positioning within the multi-asset fund range.

    As well as gaining a Business Diploma from West Suffolk College, Oliver holds the Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma with the Charted Institute of Securities & Investments alongside multiple Level 3 certificates with the Charted Insurance Institute.

    Outside of work Oliver enjoys playing rugby for his local team and enjoys spending time with his young family. He also likes running and ran the London Marathon 2024 for the British Heart Foundation.
