    Joy Smith

    Employee Benefits Consultant

Joy has worked within the financial services industry for over 40 years, over 15 of those at Mattioli Woods, and has vast experience in both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) pension arrangements. For most of this time, Joy has worked solely within the employee benefits area.

Previously working within administration, Joy dealt with clients face to face, conducting individual employee meetings and providing presentations to groups of employees. Latterly, most of her work has been centred around auto-enrolment and supporting clients through the maze of legislation, which is constantly evolving.

In order to unwind, Joy spends much of her free time crafting, which means friends, family and colleagues receive handmade Christmas and birthday cards, as well as raising money for her local Hospice. She is also the proud grandma to three beautiful grandchildren.
