    Matthew Shaw

    Matthew joined the financial services sector in 1985 and has nearly 40 years of experience in advising families, individuals, and companies, on the careful management of their financial assets.  

    As well as being a Chartered Financial Planner, Matthew is also a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, and specialises in pensions and investment advice, including small self-administered schemes (SSAS) and self-invested personal pensions (SIPP). He also takes a very keen interest in cash flow modelling for his clients as part of their overall financial planning.  

    As a pensions specialist, Matthew assists our team on all aspects of pensions law and taxation, which he thoroughly enjoys. 

    Outside of work, Matthew enjoys travel, food and drink, and loves watching all sorts of sports, including football, cycling, Formula 1, and darts. In his youth, Matthew raced road bikes and has visited the French Alps on numerous occasions to ride the famous Tour de France mountain climbs.
