Sean Westwood
I joined Mattioli Woods as Employee Benefits Team Director in June 2020, with responsibility for leading the Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.
As Employee Benefits Director, Sean oversees our Employee Benefits (EB) division’s financial performance. He also leads the EB team across Scotland, including our Aberdeen, Glasgow, and Edinburgh offices.
With over 30 years of experience advising organisations, Sean believes the best results come from building genuine and enjoyable partnerships with clients. He works closely with companies to design bespoke solutions across pensions, risk benefits, healthcare, and technology – all aimed at helping employees maximise their rewards during their careers and enjoy financial security in retirement.
As well as earning a degree in actuarial mathematics and statistics, Sean is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Outside of work, he stays active through cycling, gym sessions, and pickleball, but most enjoyment comes from spending time with his family and his three dogs.
