    Wealth Management Consultant

“I help clients and their families see through the noise – so the right decisions become obvious.”

Most people don’t avoid financial planning because they don’t care about it – they avoid it because it feels overwhelming. Too much information, too many options, and a nagging worry that a wrong move could have lasting consequences for the people they love. I’ve spent my career helping people cut through that noise.

I joined Mattioli Woods in 2016, having started my career in financial services in 2012, advising individuals and business owners on protection and business planning. That grounding in the fundamentals – understanding what keeps people up at night and what they’re really building for – shapes how I work today. Since becoming a Wealth Management Consultant in 2019, I’ve focused on building long-term relationships with clients, many of whom have become friends.

I take a holistic approach incorporating retirement planning, pension strategy, investment planning, Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning, business exit planning – often these aren’t separate conversations, they’re interconnected – throughout the client journey. A recent example: a couple with substantial income and commercial property in their own names had no real plan for retirement. By building their pension pot and using those savings to purchase their commercial property through the pension, we reduced their Income Tax, removed a tranche of personal income, and gave them a clear view of growing wealth. We then brought their spouses into the conversation too – turning what started as a business strategy into a family one.

That’s what good planning looks like. It’s not just about maximising returns or minimising tax – it’s about giving people a framework they can actually understand and trust, built around their specific circumstances. I’m also mindful of what’s coming. The generational transfer of wealth is one of the most significant financial shifts many families will ever navigate. Whether you’re preparing to pass wealth on or beginning to receive it, having the right adviser alongside you, and your family, matters enormously.

I qualified with a BA (Hons) in International Business and Economics from the University of Central Lancashire, and I’ve built my practice on one consistent principle: long-lasting relationships, grounded in trusted advice. I also enjoy presenting in professional settings – there’s something I find genuinely rewarding about engaging a room and making complex ideas feel clear.

Outside of work, I’m a father of two and family is everything. I try to stay active when I can, and I believe strongly in the connection between a healthy body and a healthy mind. The simple things matter most: family, health and security. It’s that same perspective I bring to every client conversation.
