Mental health is an issue that continues to affect more and more of us, especially after the events of the last few years, and it is important we all take time to look after ourselves and each other.
This year’s World Mental Health Day aims to make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority and this is something we also believe in at Mattioli Woods.
We ensure we look after not just our clients but also our colleagues, providing them with education and resources to help them with their mental health.
Our fantastic Wellbeing team work tirelessly to provide guidance and support to all of us, including education, Mental Health First Aiders and health and safety.
We have put together a series of articles from our Employee Benefits Consultants Adrian Firth and Edward Watling as well as from our Wellbeing Partner Scott Matthews covering different aspects of mental health. These include technology, financial matters and loneliness as well as providing some advice on how you can work on not just your own mental health, but also that of someone you care about.
The organisers of the week – Mental Health Foundation – also has some fantastic ways you can get involved this World Mental Health Day.
