    Ravi Tara

    Chief Financial Officer

    Ravi is responsible for leading all financial aspects of the Mattioli Woods Group strategy and operations, in addition to delivering the Group’s acquisition activity.

    Originally joining Mattioli Woods in 2019 as Group Finance Director, Ravi moved into the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2021, when he was also appointed to the Board of Directors.

    Ravi qualified as a chartered accountant in 2006 with PwC, specialising in corporate finance and providing mergers and acquisitions advice to a broad range of private equity, corporate, quoted and unquoted clients in financial services, consumer and retail markets, both in the UK and globally.

    An integral factor in the growth of the Weetabix Food Company over a nine-year period, latterly as Group Finance Director, Ravi was responsible for all financial aspects of the Group, including the UK and the expansion of operations globally.

    As well as being a Fellow of the ICAEW, Ravi is a member of the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance Faculty.

    Outside the office, Ravi is a keen football fan and fitness enthusiast so will often be found training in the gym. He is married with three young children who naturally keep him very busy.
