Sean – whose main responsibility will be to oversee Mattioli Woods’ Employee Benefits Consultants – joins the leading wealth management firm from Manchester-based Chase De Vere, where he worked as Proposition Development Manager since 2013, and in other roles since 2008.

At Chase De Vere, Sean was responsible for the design, launch and development of the company’s corporate propositions, as well as providing technical and new business support to 22 Corporate Consultants and a further 20-plus Hybrid Advisers. He was also a key media and PR contact for the company, and designed, built and launched its auto enrolment initiative.

Prior to this, Sean also held positions at London-based firms Caversham Buchanan, Origen, Gissings and Mercer, after starting his career with Royal London (then Scottish Life) in 1990, giving him nearly 30 years’ experience in both personal and corporate financial services.

Of his appointment, Sean said: “I am thrilled by joining the employee benefits team at Mattioli Woods at a time of huge opportunity for the division and the company as a whole. With the workplace changing, I’m excited to be working with our experienced and expert team to deliver 21st century benefit solutions and great customer service, helping our clients prosper and grow by recruiting, retaining and rewarding great people.”

Employee Benefits Director Saira Chambers said: “We are delighted to be joined by Sean. His wealth of experience and presence in the employee benefits market is a great addition to our consulting team.”
