    Sean joined Mattioli Woods as an Employee Benefits Team Director in June 2020, with responsibility for leading the Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh offices. 

    With 30 years’ experience advising companies on pensions and employee benefits, as well as advising on risk and flexible benefits, his specialities are defined contribution pensions and member engagement. A keen advocate of behavioural science, Sean aims to achieve better retirement outcomes for employees while maximising value for employers. 

    His main client services include online benefits platforms, DC pensions, risk and medical benefits, voluntary and flexible benefits, and employee communications. As well as earning a degree in actuarial mathematics and statistics, Sean is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. 

    When not working, Sean enjoys cycling, keeping flexible with body balance classes and walking in the hills with his three fun labradoodles.
