The first part of the programme is very much centred around classroom-based learning and equips you with the knowledge and expertise to progress onto the second part of the programme, through completing various exams and assignments.

If you apply yourself and work hard, you do not need any experience in finance to be successful. Being a personable person with the will to learn and put the work in is essential for this programme.
I found shadowing wealth management consultants helped me with learning the required content to pass exams but more importantly, highlights the day-to-day workings of what the role will be. The support and guidance the experienced consultants offer to trainees is definitely a bonus as it helps to see what you can expect once you’re qualified.

Working with our trainee financial advisers in the Trainee Consultant Academy, from classroom-based learning through to achieving the CII level 4 in Regulated Financial Planning, is a rewarding position that is different every day.
The programme will be a blend of digital, classroom and practical learning to support you throughout your journey to becoming a fully qualified adviser.
The assessment day is from 9am to 2pm.
The assessment day will include an introduction to Mattioli Woods, the role, and the Academy. The day will kick off with an opening task with the objective of introducing yourself. This will be followed by a group task, which you will discover more about on the day.
