Ian’s financial services career began in 2006 on leaving university and joining Capita SIP Services as a SIPP administrator. He then moved on to Brown Shipley, a private bank in London, in 2008.
Following successful completion of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Ian was promoted to pension adviser in 2014. He has worked as a financial planner for Mattioli Woods since the acquisition of Hurley Partners in 2020, and has since built a large client base of pension (SIPPs and SSASs) and private clients to whom he provides advice on all aspects of financial planning.
Ian is passionate about helping people and always treat others as he would wish to be treated himself. Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with his young family and trying to keep fit.
