Mattioli Woods, the UK-based wealth management and employee benefits firm, today announces the appointment of Sheelagh Bailey as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Sheelagh joins with extensive experience leading technology strategy, digital transformation and large-scale change programmes across the wealth management sector.
Most recently, Sheelagh served as The Head of Change at Investec Wealth & Investment UK, where she played a central role in modernising technology platforms, enhancing client experiences and supporting business growth through digital innovation. She joins the Mattioli Woods Executive Committee (ExCo) and will report directly to Peter Mann, Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment reflects Mattioli Woods’ commitment to investing in its platforms, data and digital capabilities to empower employees, streamline operations, and build a more connected, responsive and innovative business. Technology forms a key pillar of the firm’s strategy to become the Home of Financial Confidence – equipping advisers and support teams with the insight, tools and time to focus on delivering outstanding advice and service to every client.
