Sara has over 30 years’ experience in financial services and joined Mattioli Woods in November 2023. Having worked in employee benefits throughout her career, Sara has a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing employee benefit schemes. She has worked with clients across a range of business sectors including hospitality, telecommunications, hospitals and care, manufacturing, property, and retail. Her speciality is workplace pension schemes, and she has delivered on projects such as defined benefit (DB) scheme closures, trust based occupational scheme wind-ups, and automatic enrolment. 

Here at Mattioli Woods, Sara provides consultancy support to a portfolio of UK based clients. Working with SME owner-managed businesses, new startups, and international businesses new to the UK, she provides advice to employers about the design and delivery of a cost-effective employee benefits programme that meets their regulatory and contractual obligations, is of added value to their employees and promotes physical, mental and financial education and wellbeing in the workplace.  

In addition to pensions, Sara has a passion for gardening and can often be found at weekends in the garden weeding and pruning. Living very close to the Derbyshire Dales, Sara and her husband enjoy getting up into the hills for a good walk.
