I joined Mattioli Woods in 2005, prior to the company’s admission to the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. After 15 years as Chief Financial Officer I stood down from the board to take up a new role as Chief Strategic Adviser, where my focus is on acquisitions and contributing to the Group’s future direction.
Before this, I had 15 years’ experience as corporate finance adviser to directors of leading organisations in both the private and public sectors, gaining international experience across a wide range of transactions throughout Europe, North America and Australia.
As well as being a chartered accountant I hold the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance qualification and I am a fellow of the CISI.
Outside of Mattioli Woods I am the Senior Independent Director of Mortgage Advice Bureau (Holdings) plc and a trustee of Leicester Grammar School Trust.
Married with (almost) grown-up children, I have a love of travel, music and most sports, particularly skiing and Scottish football.
