Mattioli Woods is proud to partner and support Rugby League Cares to help both current and retired professional players, the clubs and non-playing staff.
Rugby League Cares’ main focus are the heroes who light up the lives of tens of thousands of fans every weekend: Rugby League Cares delivers an extensive support network to ensure the players get the most from their involvement in Rugby League, both during their careers and post-retirement.
Rugby League Cares supports four key areas within Rugby League – player welfare and education; a grants programme which secures and distributes grants to the sport’s stakeholders to deliver projects benefitting the health and wellbeing of its broad community; support for players (professional and amateur) who have suffered life-changing injuries; and a heritage programme which aims to deliver a world class Rugby League museum.
Mattioli Woods works with Rugby League Cares and the individual club’s player welfare officers by creating improved financial wellbeing through education, guidance and advice for both current and retired professional players. Mattioli Woods strives to deliver appropriate support to help them manage their financial affairs and plan ahead for the transition from professional rugby to their next chosen career.
